Email Server Settings
> Mail Account Name =
everything before the @ in your email address
> Incoming & Outgoing server name =
mail.dfn.com
> Outgoing server requires
authentication (not ssl) with same settings as
outgoing server
These are the Instructions to change
your mail server names. If Your Mail Program is not Listed, Please Call the
Office at 575 622-7853.

Click Here For Windows Mail
Outlook Express
Open Outlook Express
Click tools
Click accounts
Click the mail tab
Make sure your account is highlighted
Click properties
Click servers
Change the incoming and outgoing servers from
dfn.com
to mail.dfn.com
Put a check in the box "my server requires
authentication"
Click apply
Close all windows and reopen Outlook Express
Outlook 2000 or
2003
Open Outlook
Click tools
Click email accounts
Select "view or change existing accounts"
Click next
Select your account
Click change
Change the incoming and outgoing servers from
dfn.com
to mail.dfn.com
Click more settings
Click outgoing server
Put a check in "outgoing server SMTP requires
authentication"
Check "use same settings as my incoming
server"
Click ok
Click next
Click finish
OUTLOOK 2007
Open Outlook
Click tools
Click accounts
Click the mail tab
Select your account
Click change (not change folder)
Change the incoming and outgoing servers from
dfn.com
to mail.dfn.com
Click more settings
Click outgoing server
Put a check in "outgoing server SMTP requires
authentication"
Check "use same settings as my incoming
server"
Click ok
Click next
Click finish
WINDOWS MAIL
Click tools
Click accounts
Select your account
Click properties
Click servers
Change the incoming and outgoing servers from
dfn.com
to mail.dfn.com
Put a check in the box "my server requires
authentication"
Click apply
Close all windows and reopen Windows Mail
